Dr Máté Hidvégi
Dr. chem. habile Máté Hidvégi PhD, CSc, awarded university professor (OR-ZSE), cancer researcher with the Presidential Gold Medal, Jedlik Prize-winning inventor, Scheiber-prize cultural historian. He is a member of the Szent István Academy of Sciences and the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.
For more than 30 years, he has been involved in the research of medicinal agents that prevent the development of tumor metastases. He believes that faith is the catalyst of scientific life. In 2000, he received the Gold Medal of the President of the Republic for the Avemar preparation, which he developed and which is now used in many countries around the world, containing fermented wheat germ extract. In 2006, Avemar won the NutrAward, the Oscars of food science in the United States.
